One month ago I took this leap of faith that landed me on a date with this kid above.  I had never gone on a date with someone I met on an online dating site, but something told me not to let this one pass by without meeting him.  I am thankful everyday that I decided to show up to Imperial and have a glass of wine with him.  You know you have found that person you are supposed to be with when you are shaking from nervousness and then when you see them, without even having spoken to them yet, a wave of calmness washes over you.  After ordering our drinks, we found a quiet space to talk and it felt like we were old friends catching up.  He never felt like a stranger to me and every single day we are with one another it just keeps getting better. Yes, this is one month into this new relationship and yes, things can change… but, in all honesty, I just see them getting better. I am forever the optimist and am excited to see what adventures are coming our way.
